India Shining

From a window overlooking the Marine Drive thirty years ago, a dock worker looked out and relived the miserable times when he and his family were poor and unfed on the streets of Bombay.

From the same window last week, a supermodel looked out and saw her own face on a billboard for India's premier fashion label.

How the country has changed!

the change is eternal, but the viewer who captures the moment is extraordinary.a good viewpoint over changing times.

On lighter side,Many years later, when the the globe would be a warmer place - I mean temperature-wise, long after all the melting glaciers and swelling ocean would have submerged many coastal cities, sitting on a hilltop , I'll tell my grandson, " Kid, Marine Drive ...I'd been there. "
